CMAC Parking Tips
Two on-site parking lots are available for CMAC concerts and events, the CMAC General Parking lot off of East Lake Road and the CMAC VIP Parking lot off of Lakeshore Drive, open two hours prior to the show. Follow the signs (and the other cars) once you get into Canandaigua, NY.
Technically, there is no tailgating allowed. Do people still do it? They might, but it is hard to tell because the best people are subtle, respectful and responsible with their tailgating 🙂 If you are or act like an underage, drunken idiot and draw attention to yourself, you will very likely be reprimanded for it and possibly be thrown out of the venue, or worse yet, arrested. Many times there are law enforcement officers patrolling the lots and checking ID’s on big concert nights.
On-Site Parking
General Parking Lot (E. Lake Rd / Rte. 364)
VIP Parking Lot (Lakeshore Drive)
Off-site Parking
Offsite Parking is available at Raymour & Flanigan Plaza, and Parkway Plaza parking lots for all shows. It’s worth the short walk to the concert venue on crowded nights. You will appreciate it when the concert lets out and there is a long line of cars waiting to make the forced left turn up the hill, making you take the long way to get back to 5&20. Shuttle service may be available from the off-site lots for large shows.
There are a number of great restaurants and bars in Canandaigua, so a good idea is to get into town early, grab a bite to eat at one of the local establishments, and then walk along the lake to the concert. It is a perfect way to exercise away the calories before and after the show.
