Canandaigua Speedway 2017 Schedule

Enjoying the car races at Canandaigua Motorsports Park in Canandaigua, NY is a great way to spend a summer night. Canandaigua Speedway has dirt track racing, the single most common form of auto racing in the United States. Canandaigua Motorsports Park races Big Block Modified, Sportsman, Pro Street Stock, Pure Stock, 305 Sprints, and New Legend Sportsman on the half-mile Canandaigua Speedway dirt oval. Canandaigua Motorsports Park is located on County Rd 10 in Canandaigua, NY at the Ontario County Fairgrounds. Racing season at Canandaigua Speedway runs from April to September.

Modified cars are one of the most popular classes in short track dirt racing, with Big Block Modified as the top dog. Modified cars are a hybrid of open wheel cars and stock cars, with the racing characteristics of a stock car. The rear wheels are covered by fenders but the front wheels are left exposed.
