Canandaigua Lake is the fourth largest of the Finger Lakes, in the U.S. state of New York. Canandaigua Lake is located 29 miles southeast of the city of Rochester. Called by the Indians, The Chosen Place, Canandaigua lies within Ontario and Yates counties.The city of Canandaigua is located at the northern shore of the lake and the village of Naples is just a few miles south of the southern end.
